LSU Libraries participates in World Book Night

On April 23, LSU Libraries took part in World Book Night (http://www.us.worldbooknight.org/), an event to promote literacy and reading around the world to those who may not normally read or have access to books. Barnes and Noble provided 20 copies My Antonia by Willa Cather to give out. Michelle Donlin, Government Documents Librarian, and Mitch Fontenot, Outreach Librarian, distributed the copies to library patrons, the Education Resources Center in Middleton Library, the Women’s Resource Center Library, and other recipients. It is our hope to participate in World Book Night again in 2014.
