Hi, I just wanted to write and say I agree with what the student before me stated. That weekend before finals week is just as hectic. Many people have finals on Monday and would really benefit from the library being open 24 hours the weekend beforehand.

Thanks,

Candice

i think this is a great idea to keep it open 24hrs during finals, however i disagree with the fact that you closed so early the weekend before. many students including myself have a lot of studying and research to do and need the resources in the library to accomplish these things. trying to force it all in the week of finals is hard. just an idea for next semester that maybe you should consider longer hours starting the Friday before finals week.

thank you for letting me voice my opinion,

Hate to "criticize" once again, but there's one more little thing that's been confusing.

The sever currently only accepts "http://www.lib.lsu.edu/" or "www.lib.lsu.edu" as valid requests. "lib.lsu.edu" doesn't get you there.

I guess I'm just picky. Again, great job on the site!

Excellent work! Well-designed, easy to use. Good access to library resources, and very slick new look.

One small critique I have is that, when a menu option is rolled-over, it will pop up that item's subnav bar, but not highlight the tab to let you know that it is selected. It does work if you roll over the text, but not if you hover over any of the rest of the 'tab'.

Great job on the new site!

Sorry the new look is a lot of wasted space. The visual area is flashy, but uniformative (style over substance). Bring back the Web of Science link on the home page.
