It will be useful to faculty members interested in adopting open textbooks, which are free and include permissions to reuse and revise the content. In addition, after the workshop, participants who attended will be invited to write a review of an open textbook relevant to their area of expertise and will receive $200 to compensate their time.

LSU faculty are welcome to APPLY HERE by Nov. 7. Space is limited and faculty who find an open textbook that could be used for one of the courses they teach will receive priority (see available textbooks in the Open Textbook Library). Please contact Emily Frank at for more information.
