Copper Mill Elementary Students at Hill Memorial Library

On April 26, LSU Libraries welcomed 23 students and 2 teachers from Copper Mill Elementary School in Zachary, Louisiana. The students were fifth graders who work at shelving books in the library at Copper Mill, many of whom are considering careers as librarians and teachers. The students were given a tour and presentation of both Hill Memorial Library–by Tara Laver (Interim Head of Special Collections)–and Education Resources in Middleton Library–by Andrea Hebert (General Librarian), Robert Bigelow (Library Associate) and Mitch Fontenot (Outreach Librarian).

Paul Hrycaj is a Research & Instruction Librarian at the LSU Libraries.
