Bibliographies Made Easier with New Facebook App: CiteMe!

WorldCat's New CiteMe Facebook App

WorldCat's New CiteMe Facebook App

The LSU Libraries Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/lsulibraries) now comes with a built-in citation generator.  Thanks to WorldCat, the world’s largest library catalog, researchers can now create customized citations with the click of a mouse, and right inside Facebook.   The CiteMe App offers citation help in five different styles:  APA, MLA, Chicago, Turabian, and Harvard.   For more information, check out the WorldCat blog post about the Facebook app:  http://www.worldcat.org/blogs/archives/2008/06/citeme-on-facebook.htm.

By logging into WorldCat via the LSU Libraries Indexes & Databases page, researchers can also create entire bibliographies quickly and easily.  Questions about these tools?  Simply contact one of LSU Libraries’ reference librarians by Reference Chat or Email!  http://www.lib.lsu.edu/ref/readyref.html

Happy Citing!

We will resume processing all ILLiad requests on January 4, 2010.
