  • Long before the incredible "Pistol" Pete, Rudy Macklin, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, and so many others -- and our great team today, there were these guys! #TBT Today’s Throwback Thursday photo is LSU’s entire undergraduate student body showing some school spirit in 1923. We don’t know the occasion but we like the photo. Give us a “like” if you feel the same! Baton Rouge photographer Jasper Ewing took this shot and hundreds of others around the LSU campus from around 1910 to 1940. Some of Ewing’s early work can be found here in the LSU University Archives Photograph Collection: http://cdm16313.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/landingpage/collection/LSU_UAP. His work appears in other collections as well. Photo source: Department of Military Science Records, RG #A0602, Louisiana State University Archives, LSU Libraries, Baton Rouge, LA.
